Lower Santa Cruz River at Liz's GroveDonate

Liz's Grove is a privileged access area. There are no entry fees but a donation would be much appreciated.

For those of you who wish to support the development and maintenance of Liz's Grove, please address your donations to:

  • Liz's Grove
    1644 N. Woodland Avenue
    Tucson, AZ  85712

Our most immediate needs include simple signage, a diagram of the area and its paths and viewing spots, and fence-work including an access to the cottonwood-willow river corridor.  We also plan a picnic table or two and benches for quiet bird-watching.

For full visitor information, reservations, and directions on how to find Liz's Grove, contact Bill Taylor at 520-795-3832 or btaylor@vhta.com.

"The San Pedro River ... is not only a major corridor between varied habitat types and ecoregions, it represents a ribbon of water and riparian vegetation in an otherwise arid environment. The river thus exhibits a remarkably high biodiversity, both in resident and migratory species." Tucson Audubon
